We're hiring freelance translators! (French and English)
We have been expanding at a steady clip this summer and to prepare for the fall quarter, we are looking for a handful of qualified translators to join our team on a freelance basis. We are looking for translators in the following language combinations:
- English to French
- French to English*
*At the moment, our need for EN-FR translators is greater; however, we still have two or three spots available for FR-EN translators.
You must have at least three years of experience and a university degree in translation or an equivalent combination of subject-matter expertise and language education.
Please send a resume and short cover letter (in the body of the e-mail) to jobs@plushtext.com.
Please be sure to indicate your rates (regular and rush, if different) and highlight your experience in our specialty areas. We specialize in Environment/Energy, Medicine/Pharmaceuticals, Agriculture/Food, and Equine/Equestrian translations. For more information about our areas of expertise, please see our Specialties page.
Please note that successful applicants will have to pass a short translation test (150 words or fewer).
Have a question? E-mail Ruby at the above address and she will be happy to help. No phone calls please. ** Please note that we only work with translators who translate into their native tongue.
Thank you for your interest.
